Desert sage
This is a little native beauty growing in my yard. It's very hard to establish in the home landscape. The plant is about 18" tall and is glorious in full bloom.

I am a lover of horticulture, gardening and the environment. At age 8, I sent away for a package of Zinnia seeds for 10 cents and I've been hooked ever since. After 25 years of being self-employed, I retired. That only lasted 4 years and I now work in a water conservation program: I buy grass from homeowners who are willing to convert to desert landscaping and lose that thirsty green stuff. I pursue what interests me and you can blame my sister for getting me into this blogging thing.

I am going to comment on all your flowers here. They are spectacular...especially to us back in Kentucky that are seeing grey, brown, and more grey with a dash of sunshine sprinkled in between.
I cannot wait until spring. Your flowers are beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.
Thanks for your lovely comment about my daughter, Suzanne. She is one of those who will take on anything...gender doesn't matter to her...if it can be done...she'll try it. She used to change the oil in her car too.
Sounds like my sister!!! Give her a remodeling or building or planting or photography project and she'll get 'r done, and done right. Wonder why some of that didn't rub off on me?
