Are you ready?
This is heady stuff, writing anonymously, knowing the world can view your opinions. The very thought makes me feel vulnerable. Who will read and comment on my words? Will they think them trivial? I am someone who has been outspoken and never cared much what others think, so here goes nothing. You're welcome to give me moral support.

I wish I had your green thumb. Any suggestions for hardy shade-loving perennials??? Welcome to Blog Land. I love you.
I can't believe that Alipurr beat me to the punch in commenting FIRST!!!! (HOW DID YOU KNOW THIS WAS HER BLOG?)
I second her best wishes. Welcome to the blogosphere. (See, I just knew we could talk you into it because we all know that you have a lot of meaningful things to say.)
I've already linked you on my page and will indicate other links to like-minded gardeners.
Hello MrsGreenThumb, welcome to blogging! I came over from Motherkitty's blog. Motherkitty and I are 'blogfriends' - a weird concept, but no doubt you'll get used to it, too!
It's weird writing on your blog, and wondering who on earth will read it, isn't it? I felt oddly self-conscious writing my first words.
Best wishes for your blogging future!
:) Jellyhead
Welcome to the blogging world. It's scary at first, but eventually you'll go through your day, and when something interesting/irritating/wonderful happens, your first thought will be "oh I am SO gonna blog about that!"
And that's how you'll know you've become one of "us".
Best wishes and enjoy!
Welcome to the world of bloggers. At first none of us knew what to say...just read our first entries and you'll see.
Gardening and photography...I can see it now. We will be blessed with beautiful pictures of your garden and I can't wait! I love pictures, but I'm not good at taking pictures...but I still try.
Sometimes when I can't think of anything to say on my blog I just pretend I'm writing an email...which I have no trouble doing..that is, writing emails.
I find it more relaxing to think of my blog as an email that is open to everyone.
Your blog is yours and it's like a journal of your life and daily activities. It's a great way to keep a record, with pictures, words & ideas of your garden and a great way to keep in touch with your family...all at once.
So enjoy yourself and be creative...be silly or be serious...We're not judgemental...We are just fellow bloggers, as yourself.
Look at all the interesting people who have welcomed you into the wonderful world of blogging.
Your niece, me, our friend Jellyhead, your grandson, our friend Frannie, and sister-in-law Sandy. What a great start.
Now, after you get the links figured out, we're all gonna show you how to post pictures of your gorgeous yard. Love ya.
Welcome to the world of blogs. It is all of the above.
But remember that it is not permanent. If something is really worth saving then copy it elsewhere.
Again welcome to the world of blogs.

Mrs G - Welcome to the blogworld!
I think you'll like it. It can become quite addicting. ;)
Good luck!
Peace,

mrsgreenthumb, allow me to also welcome you to Blogistan. It's a really deep deep deep universe out here. When I started blogging, Sept 05 while I was laid up with a broken ankle, I thought that I'd never really keep up. It can be a lot of work. But, turns out that I love it. It keeps me on my game, and I've made some great contacts.
Having said that, thank you for stopping by my blog and posting your comment. I replied to you there, but figured I'd better give you a heads up here. Please, by all means, send Harry Reid to my blogsite. But, there are tons more out there that are much more informative than I on the issue of the Dubai/bush connections and their conflicts of interest. This administration makes my blood boil. I use my blog as an outlet sometimes.
By the way, I am a landscape architect by profession and license. I work for the government as a coastal and community planner. Great gig, but I do miss design work sometimes. Gardening is definitely not my forte, believe it or not.
Please stop by my blog again. Leave me some comments. Keep fighting the good fight. We need eachother.
